Licensed Psychologist needed for Long Beach Clinic

BHRs partner Medical Group is seeking a sharp, self driven,
organized and creative Psychologist with proven experience to provide clinical
services to children and adults in our Outpatient Medication Clinic in

PART-TIME:
v Part-time -
will be an employee of Medical Group
v 8-10 hours
per week (flexible)
v Clinic Shifts
Needed: Thursday & Friday’s 12-6 or Saturday’s
9- 4
Salary would depend on:
v Experience working with
patients in mental health
QUALIFICATIONS:
- California Licensed Psychologist At
least two (2) years experience working with clients with a mental illness
providing childrens, individual, couples, group and/or family therapy.,
preferably one of those years in an inpatient setting, as well as experience in
an outpatient medical setting. All clinical positions in which the person
delivers therapy, groups, and/or clinical leadership.
-Experience in providing superior case management services to clients.
-Excellent group facilitation skills and experience.
-Knowledge and understanding of psychiatric diagnoses, terminology and medical
record charting.
-Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
-Ability to work well with minimal supervision
-Ability to work well with physicians, nurses and other clinicians.
-Ability to handle multiple demands and/or crisis situations in a calm,
professional manner.
-Excellent interpersonal and client engagement skills and experience.
-Knowledge and understanding of record charting.
-Ability to handle multiple demands and/or crisis situations in a calm
professional manner.
-Spanish bilingual a PLUS &
working with children and families a PLUS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Conduct intakes/assessments and/or psychological testing on all new admissions
(adults, adolescents, children)
-Gather all initial collateral information prior to admission date
-Coordinate and collaborate with other providers, family members, schools,
pediatricians, etc. involved in child’s treatment
-Daily documentation and implementation of treatment plans for all clients on
caseload (legible notes)
-Conduct weekly individual, family and group therapy sessions
